New HarbingerBooks for Libraries

Thanks to all of you who visited New Harbinger at the Texas Library Association Conference. It was great to put faces with names of the many of you we have spoken to on the phone, but had yet to meet. We appreciate all of the interest and support we received at the conference and look forward to seeing all of you there again next year.

New Harbinger books bring real tools for real change to readers by offering them effective, scientifically sound self-help resources that deal with a range of topics in psychology, health, and personal growth.

We are excited to offer even more books to libraries in 2008! We’ve acquired seventeen titles from Instant Help Books, all valuable self-help books for parents, kids, and teens.

Our Instant Help titles for teens are written directly to adolescents, offering warm and respectful advice for dealing with life’s challenges. Insightful, effective, and fun, our Instant Help books for kids teach parents engaging activities that can help children move past difficulties and grow up happy and resilient. Be sure to check out these Instant Help Books.

Be sure to come visit our booth at the American Library Association Conference in June. The Instant Help titles will be featured along with many other of our latest and greatest books. Our booth number is 245. We look forward to seeing you!

Connecting with librarians is a high priority for New Harbinger. We hope you enjoy your visit to our website, and please check back often.

AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT

Rage

Read an interview with Sue Patton Thoele, author of The Mindful Woman.

"Society has done an excellent job in training women to be caretakers and, consequently, to think of others before themselves. Occasionally, that's exactly the right thing to do, but not as an overriding habit. If we don't pay loving attention to our own bodies, minds, emotions, and spirits, we'll drain ourselves dry."
