body-mind medicine

Few things can be as frustrating as rigorous, daily exercise without any noticeable change in ones body — or a strict diet that doesn’t yield the results you’d like.

What am I doing wrong? What’s wrong with me? These are questions that many a demoralized dieter has asked. Dr. Sanford and Dr. Todd Severin, a father-and-son medical team and authors of the book based on their fitness program, TriEnegetics, explain that what is missing in many diet and exercise regimens is a balance between body, mind, and nutrition — a necessary ingredient in any attempt to gain total fitness. The Drs. Severin are happy to discuss:

  • How to achieve mind-body wellness in six weeks
  • What’s lacking in today’s fad diets
  • How stress can get in the way of weight loss
  • What is mindfulness and how can help your quest for better health
