Lynn Koerbel, MPH, is the assistant director of Oasis Institute for Mindfulness-Based Professional Training and Education at the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Lynn cofounded Present Moment Mindfulness in Western Massachusetts, a community-based organization offering MBSR classes and mindfulness-based applications in the fields of education, business, and health. Prior to teaching MBSR, she worked in the field of integrative bodywork for almost 25 years, with a focus on healing from trauma and the integration of the body in healing.
