non-duality

 by Ilona Ciunaite

I was a seeker once. I was looking for something. I did not know what that was, but I had heard stories about enlightenment, awakening, constant bliss—I wanted that. I knew that where I was at the time wasn’t it. I had an urge to find out what the holy grail was that would make my life better in every way.

In honor of International Women’s Day, and as a follow-up to our recent blog-post, "13 Badass Psychologists...Who Happen to Be Women," we present to you 6 more enlightening authors who happen to be women.

New this month, Non-Duality Press presents The Unfindable Inquiry, the latest book from Scott Kiloby—a noted author, teacher, and international speaker on non-dual wisdom and mindfulness as it applies to addiction, depression, anxiety, and trauma. Kiloby is COO of MyLife Recovery Centers, an addiction treatment program that provides the innovative Naltrexone Implant.

The Science and Nonduality (SAND) 2016 U.S. Conference happened October 19 through 23 at Dolce Hayes Mansion in San Jose, CA. Here, I share my reflections on the gathering as a first-time attendee and associate of New Harbinger Publications, home of Non-Duality Press.

This November, Non-Duality Press is pleased to present the latest from Greg GoodeAfter Awareness: The End of the Path.

Goode is known for his unique combination of penetrating insight, comfort with both Eastern and Western sources, and a down-to-earth sense of humor. A member of the American Philosophical Practitioners Association, he serves as the technical consultant for their peer-reviewed journal Philosophical Practice.

The Science and Nonduality (SAND) 2016 Italy Conference took place at Titignano Castle in Orvieto, Terni, this August 2 through 8. Here, the founder of Non-Duality Press Julian Noyce offers a glimpse inside this explorative, multidisciplinary event including science, spirituality, dance, and much more.

New this September, Non-Duality Press presents Non-Duality Questions, Non-Duality Answers, the latest book from humanistic psychologist, therapist, and lecturer Richard Sylvester. With compassion, respect, provocation, and humor, the book explores non-duality from a variety of angles, addressing questions on a wide range of topics—from A Course in Miracles to gurus to madness to zen and so much more.

(In case there is any confusion, Suzanne would like to point out that the following post is largely tongue-in-cheek)

1. Nothing exists.

2. Everything that seems to exist is illusory.

3. This appearance is meaningless, yet miraculous, and is its own purpose.

4.  All apparent dual reality is oneness.

5. Any thought, feeling, sensation, or action that seems to occur is perfect.

6. No matter how paradoxical the happening, it is perfect, i.e., fear-based ego reactions “after” oneness has been “seen” or apprehended.
