Jennifer Gregg, PhD, is a clinical psychologist and associate professor in the Department of Psychology at San Jose State University in San Jose, CA. She completed her PhD at the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2004. She has conducted research, written, and trained practitioners on the application of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to individuals with chronic and terminal illness. She is a peer-reviewed ACT trainer, and a coauthor of The Diabetes Lifestyle Book, a self-help book applying ACT principles to the management of type 2 diabetes.
